Right now we have two kiddos Hayes will be 18 months Saturday! mY baby! How is he only 6 months from 2..just crazy! He is such a boy..no other way to describe him. Hitting things, running and throwing. He LOVES to throw balls and to hit things with his golf clubs. He is still a big boy! not sure if he will grow out of it or not. We measured him a couple weeks ago and his waist is 20.5 inches and Leila's is 18.5. LOL. so based on that he needs size 2T pants/shorts etc..but he is super short still! only 30inches..which is either 9-12mos or 12-18mos clothes. so basically he is going to have a lot of rolled up jeans or athletic pants this winter..unless he finally grows a little taller! he hasn't grown any inches in 6 months so surely he will grow a couple soon. His bottom eye/canine teeth broke through last week but they are super low...so weird hope they come up and his teeth aren't too crooked. I guess they are just baby teeth after all but might look pretty odd! haha.
On to Leila...she is 3years and 3months old. She just got a kitten named Brody...ok it has gone around but Duke and I decided Brody was what its going to stay. She said Roda, Rosy and various others too. She loves the kitten..oh and Hayes does too. They don't leave the poor thing alone when they are home constantly picking it up and loving on him. Leila started dance class last month it was a 3 week summer session. Well the first two weeks she did NOTHING. Like wouldn't even get in line with the class nothing...she stood in the corner the first week...and the second she got on the bar and then wouldn't move from there. So daddy and everyone told her if she didn't dance the third week we wouldn't go back. She danced like crazy! she did everything they told her and danced the whole class. I was surprised! I was hoping for at least 50% cooperation and definitely got more! We went to a birthday party on Sunday and it was a ballerina party and she danced all around there too. So hopefully when it starts back next week we are successful again! :) We are trying to get her into preschool at Yellville right now...unfortunately it has a terrible schedule from 7:45-2:30. So trying to work out how she will get there and picked up in the afternoon but she is excited about school! (see how that goes once she starts!) Oh and Leila is in Clayton's wedding this weekend as the flower girl. Not sure she will actually walk down the aisle but she will look super cute!
Duke is back to work coaching football this week with two a days or one giant a day as they do. Trying to gear us up for being super busy with daddy being gone a lot. We have a pretty good evening routine right now but it will have to be changed if we are going to eat dinner with daddy at 7pm. :/ and Hayes goes to bed at 8 so not sure how that'll work yet! Hoping for a good season for them...then it'll be time for wrestling before we know it!
I guess that is all that is going on right now....well me but nothing going on there just working and playing with the kids.
